# Release Notes

## \[26.1.4] - 2026-07-28

* Deployment always uses the `regatta`/`regatta` user and group on managed nodes; there's no support for a custom user/group for RDT-managed files.
* `configure`, `start-cluster`, and `stop-cluster` connect to the System Manager using Regatta's default database credentials for cluster management commands; these aren't currently configurable.
* Known issue: Python 3.12 doesn't currently allow using RDT; downgrade to a lower version (3.9 recommended).
