# SHOW DATABASE METRICS

This view returns all the metrics related to the database, meaning that it presents the aggregated metrics for
the whole cluster

The output is ordered by the `metric_name` column.

The following table lists the output’s columns:

| Column name      | Data type      | Description                                                                                                                           |
| :--------------- | :------------- | :------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| METRIC\_NAME     | `VARCHAR(255)` | Unique short name for the metric. This is the filter column.                                                                          |
| METRIC\_ID       | `INT`          | The unique metric identifier. Correlates to [SHOW METRIC DESCRIPTION](/sql/system-monitoring/dynamic-system/show-metric-description). |
| VALUE            | `INT`          | Current value for the metric (rounded up)                                                                                             |
| QUERY\_TIMESTAMP | `TIMESTAMP`    | Represent the query time. The output of `current_timestamp` function.                                                                 |
