In order to deploy a RegattaDB cluster, ensure the following requirements are met on all nodes that are designated for the cluster deployment:
  1. Operating system: Red Hat 8–based distribution such as Oracle Linux 8 or RHEL 8.10
  2. Architecture: x86-64 (64-bit)
  3. Required system dependencies:
    • shadow-utils
    • glibc
    • openssl-libs
    • libaio
  4. Hardware Requirements:
    • Memory: Minimum 32 GB
    • Disk space for Regatta installation: Minimum 500 MB
    • CPU: Minimum 4 CPUs
    • Storage: At least one dedicated 350-GB block storage device (preferably NVMe or SSD) that is not the system boot device.
  5. Connectivity:
    • Minimum 10-Gb network connection between all Regatta servers
    • Internet access for package downloads (optional)
  6. Regatta Software Requirements: Download all RPMs from Regatta and make them available for distribution to the servers.
